How a scout actually finds your player

Talent gets missed for reasons that have nothing to do with talent. A player has a great season on a team nobody outside their own club ever watches. A scout looking for exactly that profile — position, age group, a specific kind of performance — has no way to find them beyond word of mouth and whoever happens to show up to a game in person.

EZ Sports closes that gap by turning what already happens in a match into something a scout can actually search.

From a tagged moment to a real profile

Once a match is tagged in the performance analytics module, that data doesn't just sit in a coach's own view of the team. It rolls up into a player's profile — stats, clips, and development tracked over a season — and, once a parent or guardian has approved it, that profile becomes visible in the scout discovery portal.

A scout searching there isn't relying on a tip or a highlight reel someone happened to send them. They're looking at the same data the club's own coaching staff sees, filtered by position, league, or the specific traits they're scouting for.

The club isn't the last to know

This is the part that's easy to miss: when a scout shortlists a player or expresses interest, that doesn't disappear into a private message somewhere. It lands back on the club's side, in plain view. A club finds out a scout has taken notice the same way they'd find out about anything else happening in their own program — not months later, and not by accident.

That loop is really the point. Tagging a match isn't just record-keeping for its own sake. It's what makes a player visible to the people actually looking for them, and it makes sure the club is part of that conversation from the moment it starts.
